One of the problems with Ebay Stores is that although listing your products is cheap, the final values fees are more expensive than if someone bought your product through an auction or as a buy-it-now item. A way round this is to make sure that you make use of Ebay’s store referral credit scheme.

Ebay will give you 75% off of your final value fees if your customers buy from your store having arrived at it via a special url. All you have to do is add ?refid=store to the end of your url. So My stores url would be http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Kaazooms-Deals?refid=store, if you were to go to my store and buy something, I would get 75% off the final fees!

You should use this technique every time you send some one to your store via Squidoo. You can use it with specific catagories or products within your Ebay store. Just add ?refid=store to the end of your store’s url!

Squidoo does allow you to use live links using the tags. For a full list of html tags that you can use on Squidoo click here

Attention! This Technique Only Works On Ebay.Com!

I have just found out that Ebay only allows Ebay.com customers to use this technique! It seems that these rules do not apply to members in the UK and the rest of the world. Another example of Ebay’s extremely unfair policies towards its non USA customers.
